Avoid at All Costs! The hotel was literally located on a dump site. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a run-down signboard with eerie ghost images. It looked as though the place had once been a horror-themed park that had been abandoned for over a decade. The cottage we were given had a terrible odor, and the environment was not at all safe for our 4-year-old daughter. The entire site was completely unmanaged, with rubbish and construction materials scattered everywhere. It was a truly frightening experience. We decided not to stay due to serious safety concerns. To make matters worse, the reception staff were rude and unkind. They refused to issue a refund, insisting that the deadline had passed—even though our booking was under a “pay on arrival” policy. And what about the mental trauma this experience caused? That will stay with me as a lasting bad memory, something I cannot undo. I am not usually someone who leaves negative reviews, as I understand businesses can face challenges, but this situation left me no choice. This property should be avoided at all costs. I genuinely wonder how the Radisson Group allowed this place to operate under their brand. They urgently need to revisit the site and reconsider their decision, as it severely damages Radisson’s reputation.

Great hotel for work due to the gym but I don't think removing the Terrestrial TV from the rooms is a good idea I had to watch TV on my iphone as I had nothing to watch, also selection of food in the restaurant isn't great

The hotel is under construction and we were put in a room with many faults including no hot water or working television. The management promised a refund then ignored requests and tried to deny this. Luckily I had proof so I am now having to take further action. Dishonest management team and a sub par hotel that is definitely not Radisson standard. Avoid.

Stayed here with my family, the hotel is poor and the room we stayed in awful. Spa and food were good the rest is hard to say anything nice about

I came here to attend a family wedding, and I was amazed at how much this place has transformed! I had visited back in 2016 for another wedding, and this was my second time here. We stayed overnight and attended the wedding the next day. Unfortunately, the rooms were sold out, so we couldn’t stay an extra night – but we still had an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

Wasn’t a great stay. Polite staff (if you can get one) Room was clean but overall area was extremely run-down looking. The reception area looked nice and smart but the actual accommodation out the back was really unappealing. Looks of issues in the room, faulty tap, empty handwash and bodywash bottles etc This place could be really nice but needs a lot of tidying up in the outside areas

I got married here in May. The wedding team and a select few members of staff - Diane, Rebecca, Antonia, Stephen and Morgan were fantastic but the rest of the staff are just really incompetent. Lots of my guests were over charged for rooms, booked on incorrect days and all given different prices. Some were told they could use the gym and spa included in the price of their rooms but then some were charged £5 and it was only supposed to be those that had booked after a certain date. Lots and lots of things went wrong but Diane and her team pulled it together on the day and I had a wonderful day but Diane cannot run the hotel single handedly. It almost felt a bit like faulty towers where the members of staff who were competent were serving in the restaurant one day, on reception the next and on house keeping the day after that. Front of house staff need some real training it is letting down the beautiful location, gorgeous rooms and lovely food. All in all it came together and my day was beautiful but so many things should not have to be fixed by a handful of staff.
